Travel galleries index

An engineer by profession and an avid traveler by choice! A photographer by passion!

I have been roaming many different parts of India and UAE in life. The galleries have been posted after my visits but they seem to be deep embedded in the blogs. I have created an index for all these travel galleries which should help in easier navigation for all visitors to my blog.

From the heritage ruins of Hampi to the glittering cityscape of Dubai all have been linked to this index which can be accessed from the link below.

Pondicherry – trip photos

I have uploaded the Pondicherry trip photos also. You can click on the image below and you will land up in the gallery. It is a small set of photos but do not get influenced by just the numbers. You will find enough places to visit and enjoy. As already mentioned we were there for 4 days and I had a blasting time. I could even spend the same amount to time more at the same place.

Pondicherry Trip photos

It is difficult for me explain it in words but the experience of being in French influenced city is a different experience altogether. The auroville is also a good place to go. But I would suggest staying there to be able to access all the areas. Guests/Tourists have limited access to the campus like the matrimandir.

In my future posts I will try to attach the travelogues and photos all in one so that people do not have to find them through all the posts. Hopefully that will make life easier for them in searching for the resources.

Pondicherry – Give time a break

I am trying to follow the kept promise where I had planned of publishing my old trip journey travelogues. Here is the first one describing the beautiful place of Pondicherry. The air of the union territory smells of relaxation. The tourism department promotes the holiday culture with “Give time a break”. I just loved this tag line used by them for promotional campaigns.

Pondicherry mood

The above image beautifully describes the mood at this French influenced city. Just watch the waves crash on the rocks on Promenade beach enjoying a light bite at La Cafe. We spent 4 days in Pondicherry and just had a great time. It can be made as a weekend getaway as well from people in around 200km radius but beyond that range, I would recommend a day clubbed with the weekend to enjoy the place.

The city gets in motion early in the morning as a huge number of people can be seen for morning walks along the Bay of Bengal coastline. Food is no problems and you have a range from French cuisine to South Indian to North Indian meals.

I have attached a pdf document which talks about all the journey details.VIEW/DOWNLOAD travelogue here. It is around 330Kb so just be a little more patient.

As similar to other post documents, this travelogue edition also mentions the various places we visited during out visit and the experiences we had in the entire journey.
