Welcome to Pandora!
The movie has been conceptualized and visualized way ahead of its time even in the 21st century. James Cameron has put $500 million in his dream project which took almost 2 decades to be finally produced on the big screen.
The movie is a great example of how even the smallest graphic can make a BIG difference in the animation, be it the night scenes or the landscape portrayed. The graphics and 3D modeling is all-together at a different level and imagining that years back is the true imagination of the director.
The graphics and cinema experience is so unique that people might miss the theme(I think its the story also) behind the whole concept. It is a very subtle message which leads in making audience believe that peace cannot be created by further wars or any other act of aggression. The peace loving Na’vi people will not fall back and retaliate any unwanted forceful approach of any body. Humans beware!
The movie is a must watch for people of all ages. Ensure that you see only the 3D version as it will leave you mesmerized without any question. This was a movie which held many First’s for me. First time watching a 3D movie. First time watching a premier show. Quite a few firsts for a movie worth it.
The whole experience which has been created of the alien world of Pandora and the gigantic Na’vi people is out of the world and urges for a must watch. The movie is meant for big screen only with the 3D experience and garnished with good sound. The experience portrayal has not been limited just to the Na’vis but also to the vegetation, their behavior and sensitivity to actions performed.
All in all a must watch for big screen and hats off to James Cameron for bringing his imagination to life which is sure to enthrall the audience worldwide. Without any doubts go and watch it as such movies are made once in a lifetime.

Its a MUST WATCH, the director has taken care of minutest details. The imagination and creativity in the movie has me absolutely spell bound. I’m planning to watch it again in imax, mumbai, when i go home during shutdown.
Just a small advice though, please watch it in a good theatre, not at urvashi, not because of the theatre but simply because of the crowd, who, at times, made so much noise, that it was impossible to hear the conversation in the movie.
And, last but not the least, if Sarthak, who’s not much of a movie lover, is recommending it, its worth watching.

Loved the movie, and loved your review! The only possible thing I would have expected was a better screenplay. I pretty much knew how the movie was going to play out within the first fifteen minutes. I like to be surprised a little in my movies.
About the 3D, I don’t think there can be any arguments there.

I watched the 2D – but, will certainly watch it a 2nd time just for the additional dimension! The movie was along expected lines and a mix of themes from multiple other movies and as Preran said, nothing surprising in the script. But, Jim certainly succeeded in getting us totally involved and mesmerized with everything about the movie. The way he showed the entire planet as one living thing – interconnected and able to feel/respond was very moving – be it the plants, or the birds or the animals. That was the highlight for me and hope the audience takes home that very valuable message.
We ARE connected to every living thing and should respect everything around us and not take ‘things’ for granted.
