Hebbal Lake is situated on way to BIA (Bangalore International Airport). Just below the Hebbal flyover take a left and the lake is visible on right side.

Like any other lake this lake is bustling with activities in morning time. There are people doing morning walks, routine exercise or photographer like me trying to capture flying birds around. There are good species of birds which can be found here.

I went in March 2010 on weekend early morning and got decent species of bird sightings. The birds were slowly getting into activities for the day and we caught them in action.
