Our trip to Valley school was on a overcast day with slight drizzle in the monsoon season around June 2nd week in 2010.
The place has been popular amongst the bird watching and photography groups in Bangalore. A little known place outside this interest community, one can spot good nice colors of birds here. It is located 20 km from the main city off Kanakpura road after the NICE road over-bridge.
This was the first time I was trying my hands on bugs and butterflies also. The place has vast options for macro photography as well. We saw a trail of ants on their routine work which would have come out beautifully on a macro level.
It did not seem the best of times to visit as the birds seemed hidden inside the thick tree cover. For more information on how to go there and what to plan, read the valley school travelogue about this outing.
